Description

President Harry S. Truman's remarks upon receiving a Medal presented by students from William Chrisman High School, Independence, MO. The President spoke at 11:35 a.m. in the Rose Garden of the White House. David Freeman, president of the student body and one of four first place winners from the high school in the speech contests in Missouri, presented President Truman with a gold medal on behalf of the school's chapter of the National Forensic League.
